Cherry Blossoms (Kirschblüten - Hanami)

Cherry Blossoms (Kirschblüten - Hanami) is a must-see movie for those who value relationships and have lingering regrets and questions about their lives.

One of the most touching films I have ever seen. Somewhat reminiscent of "Lost In Translation" contrasting East andWest but also the modern Japan versus the tranquility of the "ideal" Japan. This movie has amusing moments and the many plot twists are never heavy-handed but very gentle.

One theme in this movie is that a person's love, passion, or interest in something can be superceded by true love and care for others.

One can never go back to change things but a person can try to understand and experience missed opportunities with loved ones who have passed on as well as with the living.
